Jim Catalano is a nationally-recognized executive coach with more than two decades of experience helping leaders and teams reach new heights of achievement. Jim’s passion for his work is contagious, and clients around the world consider him their secret weapon.
Jim brings a unique blend of scientific expertise and business experience to his work optimizing the performance of diverse organizations. From coaching CEOs to leading team workshops to assessing organizational culture and practices — Jim is adept at helping leaders identify hidden opportunities, and partnering with clients to pursue lasting growth and impact.
While he is known for his empathy and deep listening, clients also note that Jim can be assertive at just the right moments to push them to take a critical step.
Jim’s clients currently include senior executives from the financial services, engineering consulting, healthcare, luxury goods, technology, and nonprofit sectors, as well as entrepreneurs from a variety of industries.
Before launching The Catalano Group in 2013, Jim spent more than a decade at Tiffany & Co. culminating his career there as Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness & Internal Communications. Before Tiffany, he was a leading executive coach and organizational effectiveness consultant with a client roster of Fortune 500 companies, and worked as a clinical psychologist. He holds a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University at Buffalo and a BA in Psychology and Marketing from Manhattan College. A proud New York City native, Jim has volunteered to improve leadership of nonprofits, and their Boards, in and around the city. When he’s not coaching, he’s often making and enjoying music. He has been a lead vocalist in several working bands over the years, and will sometimes sing if you ask him to.
Will Welch is a seasoned executive coach with more than 20 years of experience in the science and practice of leadership and organizational development at top universities and Fortune 1000 companies. He is a trusted advisor to executives seeking to enhance their leadership skills and drive organizational success.
With a career that began in stress management research and has spanned various global companies, Will has developed a wealth of expertise in improving organizations through measuring and enhancing critical components such as leadership, company culture, employee engagement, and wellbeing. This expertise is complemented by his experience leading functions and serving on top management teams, allowing him to offer a unique and comprehensive perspective to his executive coaching clients.
Will holds a B.A. in Psychology from UCLA, and he has an M.S. in Business Research and Organizational Behavior and received doctoral training from Columbia Business School. He has co-authored several research articles in top peer-reviewed journals in psychology. Will also has certifications in health and wellness coaching, DEI, change management, and the Hogan Personality Assessment, providing him with a diverse skill set that allows him to offer comprehensive guidance to his clients.
Will lives in the mountains outside of Boulder, CO, at 8600 feet in elevation with his wife and two daughters. A fun fact about Will is that he and his wife left New York City in 2015 and spent three years on the road in an RV, traveling and working remotely. During that period, they visited all 48 lower 48 U.S. states and 15 national parks.

Brian Duggan, PCC
Executive Coach
Brian has spent the last 15 years supporting leaders and organizations building the skills and capacity to see the right problems and solve them. Having worked with all different types of industries, including tech, hospitality, retail, healthcare, real estate, nonprofits and more, Brian has seen first hand that the most common need within organizations is building up their leaders.
Brian has taken his Gestalt coaching and consulting approach to companies like Meta, Samsung, Affirm, Tiffany and Co, David Yurman, Apple, Twilio, DataDog, DuoLingo, Two Sigma, NBA, ASPCA, Mt Sinai School of Medicine, and many others.
In addition to being a certified executive coach through the ICF (PCC Credentialed), Brian is also certified in the Hogan and DiSC assessments, as well as Gestalt Organization and Leadership Development through iGOLD.
Prior to rejoining Jim and the team at The Catalano Group, Brian ran learning and organizational development at Casper, and was a leadership trainer for LifeLabs Learning. Brian specializes in Leadership and Leadership Team Development, creating a culture of Feedback, and Systems Thinking. Two little known facts about Brian are that we was once a licensed asbestos abater and cooked on a daytime talk show to win a date with one of the hosts.
